The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Wycombe Wanderers this Wednesday.

Millwall host Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday December 7 for the Football League Trophy/Checkatrade Trophy tie at The Den and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Dean Whitestone
Linesmen: Ashvin Degnarain and Dave Bushell
Fourth Official: Chris O’Donnell

Match Day referee Whitestone has officiated 22 games in 2016/17 with a return of 56 yellow cards and zero red cards.

He took charge of 39 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bristol Rovers and Mansfield in March, with eight yellows being shown. Prior to that Colchester and Scunthorpe in August saw seven yellows being shown and he also showed seven in the game between Middlesbrough and Blackburn in February.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
