The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Walsall on Boxing Day.

Millwall host Walsall on Saturday December 26 for the game at The Den and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Gavin Ward
Linesmen: Richard Martin and Mark Mellor
Fourth Official: Michael Webb

Match Day referee Ward (Surrey) is yet to officiate a Millwall game this season.

He has however already taken in seventeen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 61 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Birmingham on November 28 with a total of eight yellows being shown. He also showed seven yellows in the Bristol City v Leeds encounter on August 19, and six yellows and one red on December 20 in the game between Leeds and Preston.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
