The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Walsall this Saturday.

Millwall travel to Walsall on Saturday October 1 for the game at the Bescot Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Probert
Linesmen: Adam Matthews and Nigel Lugg
Fourth Official: Ryan Johnson

Match Day referee Probert is back this year having taken charge of 19 games in the 2014/15 season. In those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 63 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa with a total of six yellows being shown, along with one red. He showed seven yellows in the Accrington Stanley v Wycombe Wanderers game in December.

He has officiated eight games in 2016/17 with a return of 18 yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
