The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Gillingham this weekend.

Millwall host Gillingham on Saturday December 19 for the game at The Den and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Darren Handley
Linesmen: Ian Rathbone and Matt Eva
Fourth Official: Daniel Leach

Match Day referee Handley (Lancashire) has officiated one Millwall game this season – the three one victory over Crewe in September. In that game he showed two yellow cards, one to Millwall.

He has however already taken in sixteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 62 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Leyton Orient and Wimbledon on November 28 with a total of six yellows being shown, plus one red. He also showed six yellows in the game between Coventry City and Southend United on August 31.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
