The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Nottingham Forest this Tuesday.

Millwall host Nottingham Forest on Tuesday August 23 for the League Cup second round tie at The Den and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Gavin Ward
Linesmen: Nicholas Cooper and Stephen Finch
Fourth Official: Colin Lymer

Match Day referee Ward has officiated five games in 2016/17 with a return of 18 yellow cards and zero red cards.

He took in 35 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 113 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Birmingham on November 28 with a total of eight yellows being shown. He also showed seven yellows in the Bristol City v Leeds encounter on August 19, and six yellows and one red on December 20 in the game between Leeds and Preston.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
