The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the League 1 Play Off Final against Barnsley this Saturday.

Millwall travel to Wembley to face Barnsley in the Final decider over who gets promoted to the Championship this season.

The game takes place on Sunday May 29 and kicks off at 3pm.

Referee: Stuart Attwell
Linesmen: Nigel Lugg and Rob Jones
Fourth Official: Stephen Martin

Match Day referee Attwell, 33, has been a Football League official since 2007 and he was promoted to the Select Group Referees panel in 2008 – taking matches in the top flight and becoming the youngest ever referee in the Premier League aged just 25.

He officiated the 2008 League 2 Play Off Final between Rochdale and Stockport County at Wembley, and was back at the National Stadium last week, taking charge of the 2016 FA Vase Final between Hereford FC and Morpeth Town.

He has taken in one Millwall game this season, the two nil Johnstone’s Paint trophy loss to Oxford United.

He has however already taken in 43 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 116 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Plymouth and Crawley on October 3 with a total of six yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows and one red in the match between Nottingham Forest and Burnley on October 20. He completed the 666 at the end of October in the game between Scunthorpe and Barnsley.
