Striker John Marquis has today extended his loan spell at Priestfield Road with League One Gillingham, and he will now remain with them until the end of the season.
the 22 year old joined them at the beginning of January on an initial one month deal, but having made an immediate impact at the club, scoring three times in four appearances, all parties have agreed to extend the deal to enable him to capitalise on that form with them.
Earlier in the season he had a loan spell with Cheltenham Town, making 16 appearances, scoring twice.
Another young player has also gone out for loan experience today.
Defender Callum Webb has moved on a one month deal to Ryman Premier Division side Kingstonian, a matter of hours after Dylan Casey returned to Millwall following a successful spell at Kingsmeadow.
19 year old Webb has been a regular for our under 21 side so far this season, and it’s hoped he’ll benefit from the time out as Casey did, as during his spell, he started seven of the eight games he was eligible for.
