It’s being reported that Scott Malone has now agreed terms with Cardiff City ahead of a move to them this window, and also that on loan Andy Wilkinson is now back in full training at the club.
Starting with Malone, Wales Online are reporting that he has now successfully agreed terms with Russell Slade’s Cardiff side, and having undergone a medical today, it’s expected he will be announced shortly by the club, and his obvious departure from the The Den.
It’s still said the club’s have agreed a fee of £100,000 for him, and the 23 year old is expected to be in contention to make his debut for the club when they face Fulham this weekend.
As for Wilkinson, the 30 year old is now said to have fully recovered and returned to training following the back injury he suffered in his last game for us that saw him miss the FA Cup clash with Bradford.
But it’s also suggested he hadn’t been given permission to play in that game anyway so he wasn’t cup tied.
His current loan deal with us means he’s in contention for two more matches, and it’s expected manager Ian Holloway will be hoping to extend the deal until the summer, where the player is then out of contract at Stoke and a permanent deal could be on the cards as he’s impressed the gaffer in his eight games for us so far.
