Steve Lomas has apologised to the travelling fans who made the trip to Birmingham following the performance they saw from the team.

Speaking to the official site as we gear up for a response against Bournemouth, Lomas explained.

‘Massive apologies to those travelling fans because they were short changed, no doubt about it.’

Lomas said he had warned the team about how dangerous Birmingham could be, but disappointingly everything that we did well against Blackpool, Charlton and Leeds he feels we just didn’t replicate saying ‘we forgot to do’ that midweek.

It’ll be another tough test because he knows Bournemouth will pass the ball about well and they have a good spirit, so Millwall will have to be back to our best ourselves if we are going to get back to winning ways.

Ultimately though it’ll be about focusing on our game, focusing on our strengths and concentrating on what we can do to hurt them, instead of overly worrying about their strengths.
