Steve Lomas has said he feels Millwall are making progress after being ‘quite pleased’ with our overall performance against Gillingham.

Speaking to the official site following the 3-1 win, the gaffer said.

‘I was happy with the first half performance, however, the substitutes in the second half broke up the game. The performances of Steve Morison and Andy Keogh up front were good, and also the other front two of Jermaine Easter and Dany N’Guessan.’

Lomas says that had it not been for a couple of fantastic saves and the crossbar, he feels the strikers would’ve achieved the scoreline that reflected their efforts in the game.
