Steve Lomas has said he’s bitterly disappointed after Millwall went down one nil to newly promoted Yeovil today.

Speaking to the official site following the game, Lomas did say that he took positives from the game though and he knows on another day with the chances we had, we would’ve come away with three points ourselves.

‘We didn’t get anybody to put their foot on the ball in the first half, in the second half there was more of that. It wasn’t until Nicky Bailey came on that we started to get some rhythm. He looked lively and hit an excellent through ball to Steve Morison. The defeat is very hard to take but we’ve only got ourselves to blame. We had five decent chances and you have to take them. I can’t fault the lads for their competitiveness and will to win, but you have to show that little bit of know how. The second half was a marked improvement and we will get better.’

First proper game out of the way and plenty for Lomas to work on during the week.
