Millwall’s League 1 season continued with a win against Sheffield United at the Den on Saturday.

A reaction to the Peterborough mauling in midweek was seen by Millwall with a last minute penalty seeing the Lions to a two-one win over Sheff United.

Williams followed up when a corner wasn’t cleared to put Millwall ahead early on but it wasn’t long before Sheff United were level when Archer was beaten by Scougall’s effort seven-minutes later.

Gregory could have put Millwall ahead again with it looking likely to end in a draw.

Millwall had the chance to win it though when O’Connell’s handball gave the Lions a last minute penalty that Morison made no mistake with to claim the points.

Here’s a round up of the League 1 action from the other matches played.

It’s been a very good start to the season for Bolton with the winning once again after two-one win, which seems to be a familiar scoreline for the Trotters, over Fleetwood with Bradford collecting a third win of the week when seeing off Coventry three-one.

Millwall recovered well from a heavy midweek defeat at Peterborough (beat at Oxford this time) to win at the Den against Sheffield United, who had themselves suffered a heavy defeat at home to Southend in the previous match with their early season struggles continuing.

Now it looks like Charlton, having won for the first time this season in the last match, have got their season up and running with another win collected at Walsall as the Addicks won two-one.

But the big winners were Scunthorpe who thrashed Gillingham give-nil at Glanford Park.
