Peterborough’s League 1 season continued with a defeat against Peterborough at London Road on Tuesday.
The unbeaten start to the season from Millwall was ended in emphatic fashion with Peterborough thrashing the Lions five-one.
Peterborough were ahead with six-minutes gone when Maddison scored when he cross beat everyone. This lead was doubled a minute later when Taylor fired past Archer with the match out of sight on 20-minutes when Edwards headed the third.
Early in the second half Edwards made it four with the fifth coming midway through the second half when Nichols completed the home scoring for Posh.
Millwall had the last word but Morison’s goal wasn’t anything more than a consolation goal for the Lions towards the final 10-minutes.
Here’s a round up of the League 1 action from the other matches played, with some still to take place.

AFC Wimbledon continue that wait for a first League 1 win, beating by Scunthorpe this time whereas Champions of League 2 last season Northampton remain unbeaten after a nil-nil draw at Oldham.
Charlton are up and running with a three-nil win over Shrewsbury at Valley Parade, seeing Russell Slade get his first win since taking charge with another very impressive three-nil win seeing Southend collect a first league win too.
They saw off Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
Without a doubt the most impressive result of the midweek schedule, across the Football League, has to be Peterborough’s five-one win over Millwall, which wouldn’t have been expected by too many heading to Posh on Tuesday!
