Millwall’s League 1 season continued with a defeat against Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.
A lead was lost by Millwall, with the Lions also losing Shaun Williams to an early sending off, with Coventry coming back to win two-one with this damaging our play-off hopes.
Which are still very much in our own hands mind!
Byron Webster headed Shane Ferguson’s corner past ‘keeper Reice Charles-Cook to give Millwall a 19th-minute lead with Williams then sent off for an apparent headbutt on Ruben Lameiras ahead of the half hour mark.
John Fleck scored from 30-yards to have Coventry level just past the hour with Marcus Tudgay winning it for the Sky Blues on 70-minutes keeping Millwall in fifth and three-points ahead of seventh-placed Barnsley.
Here’s a round up of the League 1 action from the other games played at the weekend….

Burton (nil-nil) missed the chance to close in on the leaders when held by Barnsley, who are still seeking a play-off place, but the Brewers retain second place behind Wigan (three-one) who were surprisingly beaten by relegation threatened Doncaster, who gave their slim chances of staying up a boost.
The Gillingham (two-one) defeat to Port Vale leaves the Gills holding onto the final play-off spot.
Colchester (four-one) are strong favourites to join Crewe in going down with the fading chances of a miraculous escape dented by the loss at the Weston Homes Community Stadium against Peterborough.
Crewe are gone, Colchester and Doncaster likely to join them with it the final relegation spot that’s very open at the moment.
With it currently Blackpool (three-nil) holding this after the defeat at Rochdale leaving them two-points off Shrewsbury (one-one), who drew with Bradford, and Fleetwood (one-one), who drew with Oldham, with the Latics a further point on from Pools.
