Millwall’s League 1 season continued with a defeat against Bradford at Valley Parade on Saturday.

The six-match unbeaten run Millwall had been on was ended when Bradford ran out one-nil winners to move into the play-offs.

Aiden O’Brien had a chance for Millwall but eventually, after a disallowed goal, Lions ‘keeper Jordan Archer was beaten with a little over 10-minutes to play by Bradford’s Steven Davies to head home and moved the Bantams into the play-offs a point behind us in fifth.

Here’s a round up of the League 1 action from the other games played at the start of the Easter weekend….

These were the other results.

Friday 25th March 2016
Barnsley 0-0 Scunthorpe
Blackpool 1-1 Bury
Colchester 4-1 Doncaster
Rochdale 4-1 Southend
Sheff Utd 3-2 Crewe
Shrewsbury 1-1 Port Vale
Swindon 1-4 Wigan
Peterborough 3-1 Coventry

Saturday 26th March 2016
Burton 0-0 Oldham
Bradford 1-0 Millwall
Chesterfield 0-0 Fleetwood

The Burton lead (on Friday) anyway was closed by Wigan (four-one), who extended their unbeaten run with a heavy win at Swindon – Barnsley (nil-nil) retained the final play-off place on Friday, but had to settle for a point at Oakwell against Scunthorpe under new boss Graham Alexander.

Looking to get into the top six are Southend (four-one) beaten at Rochdale, so these chances weren’t helped at all, with Sheffield United’s (three-two) hopes helped with a win against struggling Crewe at Bramall Lane.

Colchester (four-one) will still need to pull off something special to stay up but this win against Doncaster, who drop deeper into trouble themselves after this game, took them off the foot of the table after the game at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Burton’s (nil-nil) draw with Oldham saw both sides take a step closer to achieving what they want, the Brewers to promotion and the Latics to staying up but Wigan did close the gap on the leaders by two-points.

A Bradford (one-nil) win over Millwall saw the Bantams back into the play-offs places with this win at Valley Parade.

Who was the Lions MotM in this game?
