Millwall’s League 1 season continued with a draw against Bradford at the Den on Saturday.

Two Millwall players were on the scoresheet on Saturday against second placed Bradford, the thing was one was in the wrong net as the Lions came back from a goal-down to draw one-one.

With half time approaching a Marshall cross-shot went in off Millwall defender Webster to put Bradford ahead at the break.

Millwall came out strongly after the break with Martin scoring less than five-minutes after the restarted to earn the point.

The point was assured in injury-time when Millwall ‘keeper Archer turned an effort from Law onto the post, with the Bradford man having already been denied by Archer previously seeing the Lions in fourth.

Here’s a round up of the League 1 action from the other matches played, with some still to take place.

Bolton’s impressive start to life in League 1 did see the Trotters have to settle (if that’s the right word) for a point against Southend at the Macron Stadium after a one-one draw with a similar scoreline seeing Millwall also held at home when Bradford went away from the Den with a point.

Wimbledon and Oxford both came up from League 2 last season with both, and from home matches, collecting wins with the Dons beating Chesterfield two-one and the U’s Rochdale one-nil.

An emphatic win came for Bury with them trashing Port Vale four-one at Gigg Lane, which jumps out at you as does the Fleetwood win (two-nil) over Coventry at the Highbury Stadium also.

If you wanted goals then they certainly flowed at Boundary Park on Saturday, however home side Oldham were on the wrong end of a five-goal match as they lost out to visiting Shrewsbury three-two.
