Skipper Paul Robinson has said he’s determined to play his part in the upcoming visit of Leeds as everybody within the camp wants to push Millwall to their third successive victory on the bounce.

After a fair bit of doom and gloom at the start of the season, the recent few weeks haven’t been too bad as we turned Blackpool over 3-1 before following that up with a 1-0 victory over Charlton in our last game, and obviously three on the bounce would now be huge for Steve Lomas and the club.

Speaking to the official site Robinson said everybody would be doing what they could to ensure that run of form continues.

‘It was a huge team effort against Charlton, and once we went in front you could see how much the players wanted it. The intensity we’ve shown in the last two games is our benchmark now and we have to build from here and try to keep pushing up the table.’

Having not been able to buy a win at the start of the season, our last two victories have pulled us up to 17th place in the league with a four point buffer over the drop zone and things look a lot healthier than they did a fortnight ago.

That won’t count for much unless we keep this going and improve further.
