Millwall’s four three victory over Leeds United at Elland Road last weekend has taken the League Managers Association’s Performance of the Week award.
The LMA judging panel meets up once a week to decide which game and which team put in the best performance in any given fixture across a matchday run and the panel is comprised of Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry.
They decided the award should come to Millwall following our efforts that saw four goals come from Aiden O’Brien, Lee Gregory, Tom Elliot and Jed Wallace that returned an extremely important three points on the day.
Manager Neil Harris will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne and be presented with an LG Performance of the Week trophy to commemorate the result.
