The Millwall run in the Capital One Cup is over for another year after the first round defeat against Barnet at the Den on Tuesday.
Millwall allowed a lead to slip against League 2 side Barnet, who advanced following a two-one win after extra time.
The Lions looked to be heading out after Akinde (11) had scored a first half penalty, something Morison wasn’t able to do for Millwall when he missed a spot kick in the second half.
Morison (76) made up for this when he headed home the equaliser but the Bees still had a sting in their tail when Yiadom (102) converted the extra time winner.

Not all of the first round matches have actually been complete mind!
Doncaster hosts Leeds in the remaining first round tie on Sky Sports tonight, after which the second around draw will be made at around 10pm.
A fair few upsets weren’t there with a number of Championship sides falling at the first hurdle, as well as some League 1 sides who might have been expected to progress.
Millwall’s upset defeat against Barnet aside, the Shrewsbury, Oxford, Carlisle, Hartlepool, Notts County, Luton, Northampton, Walsall, Port Vale, Bury, York and Portsmouth results being the stand out results and the clubs to progress that could well be feared in the second round draw?
Arguably, again unfortunately the Barnet win is among them, the pick of the bunch, of the first round winners were League 2 sides Oxford, Notts County, Luton, York and Portsmouth….
Following the outcome of the match on Tuesday we know the Lions won’t be in this anyway!
Not only do we want you looking, as you are now, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views on the League Cup result Millwall had too, so do share some of those with your comments below.
