Ian Holloway may be boosted ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest this weekend with the return of Nicky Bailey, Lee Martin and Jermaine Easter.
We go into the game this weekend with manager Ian Holloway calling on us to win at least five of our remaining seven games to give us the best chance possible of avoiding relegation this season, and he told the official site that welcoming back three senior pros from injury could just be the exact boost we need.
‘We have been very unlucky with injuries to so many key players over recent weeks and it would be lovely to have a few more options on Saturday. However, what I won’t do is take a risk with a player that might lead to him having more problems down the line.’
Holloway goes on to say that Nicky Bailey who had been out with a back problem, got 70 minutes in our recent under 21 game and he did really well, but having been out for so long he has to be assessed carefully.
The same is also true of the others, so we’ll simply have to see whether his optimism on players returning comes through and in any case, hopefully we have a starting XI that can take all three points because we certainly need them.
