Manager Ian Holloway has said he may have to go with Plan B as we face Charlton this weekend because he knows what a victory would do for everyone.

With Nicky Bailey (calf), Andy Wilkinson (suspended) and Carlos Edwards (knee) all already ruled out of the game, the manager was playing his cards close to his chest but admitted several other first team members had also received treatment over the course of the break, but midfielder Angel is apparently pushing for inclusion in the squad for his potential debut since joining us.

Speaking to the official site the gaffer said injury wise it was starting to look good though.

‘The good news is I’ve got people who are fit again now and could come back in. I might have to go with Plan B and if I have to go with Plan B I would be more than happy with it. It’s about getting that game plan into everybody. We need some points. They have had a good start and are doing well with their strikers scoring. He will be happier with things than I am at the moment.’

Holloway does go on to add though that the players know what we’ve been doing well and what we’ve not been doing well and they been working hard ont he training pitch to improve further and get things right on a more consistent basis, but now it’s time to put that over on the pitch because he knows what three points would do for us at this stage.

‘What I want to do is give them (fans) the best team we have ever had. I’m not doing it yet but we’re trying and working at it.’
