New manager Ian Holloway’s second piece of business has to bring in striker DJ Campbell from Blackburn Rovers.

Having already brought in right back Ryan Fredericks on a 93 day loan spell from Spurs, Campbell now joins our ranks on a loan deal that will expire at the end of the 2013-14 season.

The 32 year old striker knows our gaffer well having played under him in a very successful period at Blackpool where the striker apparently scored 34 goals in 60 appearances.

Campbell has moved around a fair bit in his career and Millwall will be his eight club following his debut for Brentford back in 2005.

He will fly out to Portugal later tonight to join the rest of the lads on the mini mid season training camp.

So far this season the player has made three starts and six appearances from the bench for his parent club but has not found the net.

In his career though, he has made 194 starting appearances in games, and a further 88 appearances from the bench. In that time he has scored 87 goals.
