Millwall secured a one-nil win over Oxford in the JPT on Tuesday, on the night that was enough for the victory but this wasn’t enough to overturn the first left (two-nil) deficit with the Lions losing two-one on aggregate.
Lee Gregory scored early in the second half to give Millwall real hope but when Mark Beevers went for a second yellow on the hour this made a difficult job harder and a second goal didn’t come.
