A 10-man Millwall side were beaten three-nil by Gillingham in League 1 on Saturday, playing almost an hour a man light after ‘keeper Jordan Archer was sent off.

Gillingham took the lead when Dominic Samuel headed in a Bradley Dack freekick with the chance to make it two coming before the half hour mark when Archer conceded a penalty for a foul on Cody McDonald, which also saw him sent off.

Dack took, and scored, the resulting penalty when Lions sub ‘keeper David Forde beaten as he was again in the last minute when Samuel got onto a poor Byron Webster backpass to add a third for the Gills.
