Manager Neil Harris has hinted he might make tactical changes for tonight’s match against Fleetwood Town.
With Fleetwood on the back of a five one victory themselves, Harris knows they carry a good attacking threat of their own, and he admits that if he does play it’ll be in an effort to shut them down and give us the best chance possible of making it ten unbeaten.
Speaking to the official site ahead of the game in his pre match press conference, the gaffer explained.
‘You have to be respectful to a team that scored five at the weekend and that will certainly be the case. They play a different style of football to us so I have to consider that when thinking about team selection and certainly a change of shape comes into my mind up against their formation.’
With no fresh injuries concerns following the four one victory over Colchester at the weekend, Harris went on to say that with it being three wins on the spin the players are relishing the next match at the minute with the confidence they have in them.
‘If you’re winning games then you always look forward to the next fixture. Straight away after Colchester the boys were asking about the Fleetwood team, who has played for them, how they play and what they do. We had a recovery day on Sunday and we will finish our preparations off on Tuesday in time for the game. Fleetwood are coming off the back of a good victory so they will have their tails up and will be looking forward to the game. But so are we – we’re nine unbeaten and we are looking to extend that run.’
