Caretaker gaffer Neil Harris has said that despite losing two nil to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday he feels that there were plenty of positives he could take from the game.

Speaking to the official site following his first official game in charge, Harris explained.
‘There are plenty of positives for us to look at. Obviously the goals we conceded were poor, and their second one was a key moment in the game. But we created more chances and were the better team over the course of the match. I’m sure they will be wondering how they have won the game but that isn’t a comfort for us because we need to be winning matches with the situation we are in. If we keep playing like that then I’m sure we can get some victories.’

Having already commented on his belief that playing like that in games to come will see results come our way, he goes on to talk about the other positive from the match which for him was the intensity of play from the players and the effort and commitment they put into the game.
‘The intensity of our play was a real positive for me. We have dominated possession but the difference, unfortunately, was what happened in the final third. We are taking one game at a time in our approach and are asking the boys to play a different style. They did well with that.’
One great thing for him was the fans and their response, despite the result.
‘All of the fans who have paid good money to come up here and watch the game stayed behind to clap their team off. That was telling.’
