Manager Neil Harris has confirmed that he is looking to add to the squad before the summer transfer deadline passes, and we are actively speaking to clubs at the moment to try and make that happen.
Speaking to News Shopper after the victory over Sheffield United at the weekend, Harris explained.
‘I’ll be adding to the squad. We’ve spoken with clubs. We need to bring some depth into the squad and some quality. But as ever it will be the right people with the right references. As professional as it sounds, we need good people and good characters to join our great team spirit. We’ve working hard with the recruitment department to try and find out who is available and who we can get.’
The South London Press have a further quote with Harris confirming that he was hopeful of getting a deal over the line before the turn of the week – presumably in time for the Chesterfield game next Saturday.
