Harris on Target as Lions Draw

MILLWALL kicked off their pre-season tour or Ireland with a 1-1 draw against Shelbourne in Dublin on Monday night.

Striker Neil Harris put The Lions ahead with a 36th minute header following a David Martin cross, but the home side levelled twelve minutes from time when Franco Georgescu fired home from close range.

As expected, manager Kenny Jackett fielded two completely different teams in each half with David Forde, Ashley Grimes and Jimmy Abdou all making their debuts for the club.

Charlie Daniels, on trial from Tottenham Hotspur, also featured during the second period.
