Millwall’s League One clash with Gillingham has moved from the original Saturday slot to the Friday following agreement between both clubs.
The game was due to take place on Saturday December 31, but following discussions the game has been moved to Friday December 30 and it will carry a 7.45pm kick off.
The reason for the switch is to enable the players to have an extra day’s recovery ahead of the Bank Holiday Monday clash on January 2, and the club also believe it will enable fans to enjoy their own New Year’s Eve celebrations more easily.
This is the only recent fixture switch for the club.
