Your favourite decade following wall

Same with me, Benny Fenton assembled a great team on a Mickey Purser budget (meaning fuck all) and was my favourite period in following the ‘Wall.
The talent that he discovered and nurtured was really remarkable. He was one hell of a Manager.
Allegedly, Benny made offers for Kevin Keegan (when it was playing for Scunthorpe) and Trevor Brooking (before he broke into the West Ham first team) 👍👏

If you don't mind me asking what block in the west upper? Were in block 2 and have been for around 15 years now. Was in West lower prior to that. The Kitchener is the only stand that I've sat in.
Block 4 Peckham ever since it opened. Me, two daughters, three grandchildren, a friend from school back in the sixties with his wife and two mates. We just sit anywhere within our group of seats. BTW I am one of the sad old gits who have done the "92" completed first in 2014.

Peckham, I know we've met (you very kindly sorted the Brighton FA cup tickets for me and the boy) and I know our paths have crossed... I'm usually in Block 1 or 2 at the front.. Next time you see me slap me over the head and tell me it's you.

I've always had the problem remembering faces.. I know I know the person, but can never remember who/why/where!

So many times someone has come up to me like a long lost mate, shaking my hand, hugging me etc. and I stand there thinking the face rings a bell, but not sure why!

Gets embarrassing sometimes...

Worst one still was a fella came up to me on Ilderton Road about 3 years ago, Paul how are you? How's your brother and big Tim,? Still living in Wallington? He knew me well and my brother very rarely goes to Wall.... Gave me a hug and on his way... still today I have no fkin idea who he was.

Got to say the 90's, but late 90's really. Was too young to really appreciate the 80's, but late 90s was when i was able to get out on my own and travel more to watch Millwall with mates. Early 2000's were also great, watching Millwall, playing football, clubbin', women. So probably 95' to 2005', we had relegation, promotion, Wembley, Cardiff, Europe.

Don’t worry about it, happens to me all the time. Though I do normally work out who they are some hours later.🤣

the early 70s were the best for Benny's boys it's just that the sun shined more in the 60s that's why you remember them times it was always dark in the 70s .and I think it wasRodney marsh we tried to sign from Fulham but Purser wouldn't part with 8 grand and he tore us to pieces later on at qpr

Because of my age, the 00/01 season was my first season going regularly. So that season with the title, and then through the cup final and europe was outrageous. And the the 2010s and even our current run of 9 years in the second tier have been brilliant times

Bloody youngster 😁😁 You've been pretty much spoiled in comparison to most of mate. I make about 19 out of 24 seasons that you've seen us in the championship.
