Wow sunderland

Sunderland came out in the second half and gave it a right go.
Apart from a couple of good saves from the Sunderland 'keeper, Sheff Utd didn't offer up much in front of goal. Sunderland got stronger as the half went on and looked more likely to score, and they did...

My brother-in-law is a Mackem, I'm glad for him. Although, he probably won't let me forget today for a while.
:grinning:

Glad Sunderland did it because as I’ve said before I’ve got a big soft spot for them.

On a practical level though I think Sheffield Utd will be stronger in the championship next season so probably would’ve been better for us as a club if they had done it

Not sure if they will be stronger next season or if defeat today will have an adverse effect.
Will Wlider still be with them?
There might be a considerable change of playing staff. They might not find it as easy as this season.

A game with 3 good goals.

I can not abide Wilder, another one ungracious in defeat and my Shff Weds mate was laughing his bollocks off, as for Sunderland, if I thought anything of them it evaporated when that silly Netflix docu came out...

that Sunderland winner side foot from twenty yards , class

Yep, it was class. All three goals were, I thought.
It just goes to show what real pace can do.

Interestingly, Tommy Watson agreed to join Brighton last month for £10m.
He's certainly a confident nineteen-year-old with real promise. Another shrewd Brighton deal.
