Mad how we are 5th favourites to go down and Swansea, Derby, Portsmouth, Watford, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke are all predicted to finish above us.

Sheff we'd think they've got the greatest manager since sliced bread and great things will happen.i pointed out that harris got more points they they did in the same period and no one rates him outside millwall

And the QPR manager. Just had a look at their current squad and it is piss fucking poor.

Tougher league than most are letting on this year I think. Sleeping giants promoted in Portsmouth. Derby are a championship team in regards to support and 'tradition'. That's two teams out the 3 who were promoted who somewhat warrant a Championship spot, compared the usual lot who come up from League 1 who tend to be relegated the season after (Rotherham, Peterborough etc.). Sheff Utd and Burnley always challenge for the title in the Champ. Luton by all accounts, have some serious wedge behind them.

As per the previous years, the Championship, I feel, is renowned for anyone beating anyone on their day, regardless of league position.

Just more about consistency and finding a winning form at the 'right time' when the teams around are faltering. Easier said than done, but if you look at the teams that do well, it's always to do with consistency at the right times/difficult times.

Think being caught between 9th - 18th is likely as there are around 10 or more teams who are very similar in terms of ability.

Luck plays a bigger part than most think tbh.

If Langstaff can get the service and find the back of the net regularly hopefully top half, if not then could well be another really tough season ahead. I also am not sure NH will be here for the whole season, thats not knocking what he did to keep us up which was nothing short of a miracle considering where we were going. But over the course of a whole season I still worry to be honest and yes he has hopefully learnt a lot from his last stint, but I would be gutted to see him treated like he was at Luton that night if it starts to go pear shaped and not sure he would take it or wait for it to get to that stage again and nor should he, we all know how a lot of our fanbase are now and its even worse than it was when he was here before in my opinion. If that happens then depends who would take over then if we were in an unhealthy position. So I would say nearer relegation than promotion.
Lets hope I know absolutely F all and we coast into the play offs,

I think it’s actually a weaker league this season. The three teams coming down aren’t as strong as the three that went up last season. I can’t see Luton or Sheff Utd challenging again this season. Burnley might. Not too worried about the teams coming up. They may be big clubs historically but there’s a big jump between the championship and L1. Sheff Wed are a big club but struggled last season making the jump.

Harris had us in promotion form from the time he came back last season, i think it depends on how well we do early season as we are notoriously slow starters.

We have the best set of players in a long time, if they get off to a flyer i can only see us getting better, think we could well be the surprise team this season if our home form gets back to normal.

I think a lot of things depend on squad depth and avoiding injuries. Plus a bit of luck. It's a long old season.
