Watford tickets

Think you have missed the point, its the older and less well off supporters that will feel it most, a 50% hike in tickets will be too much for many being a working class club.
What tickets have increased by 50%?

Further up this thread there's a couple of instances with membership cards and ticket prices, from what i am hearing its across the board and as stated when my members card arrives and i get my Watford ticket i will post the difference to last seasons prices.

People are getting their wires crossed a bit here, memberships last year were £30 and have gone up to £35. The over 64 members are still getting a discount:

I just don't understand why you mentioned a 50% hike in tickets prices when that's not the case. If it was there'd be uproar.

Took a look at a couple of games where I bought tickets separately 2022/23 season,

CBL upper against Preston on a membership x 1 adult and x 1 under 16 = £35

Adult ticket was £24 and under 16 ticket £11

Same again for Blackburn but Dockers upper = £42, adult ticket £29, under 16 ticket £13

Bit of a discount given on the membership about £3 off on an adult and £1 or £2 on the under 16 I think if bought in advance.

The club did freeze season ticket prices a few seasons back so swings and roundabouts i suppose. We need to be able to compete with wages in this division and raising ticket prices seems the most logical way.

Tried buying a Burger or a Pint lately? Nothing is cheap anymore. All o.k.if you are in employment, but if not... In fairness to Millwall, I don't think they do bad by us generally. The Club Shop is a different matter.
The cost of living crisis is still very much a thing. If I had to travel in from far and not live local it would be impossible for me. Luckily I can jump in the car and be there in 30 mins. Don’t have to eat around the ground, train fares etc, so with a season ticket it’s still a reasonable afternoon out. If you earn 50k a year your spending power in this country might as well be earning 25k a year. Looking at wage growth over the past 5 years in an ideal world wall should be about 25 quid a ticket, not 34. We don’t live in an ideal world though.

Think some posters on here are looking at anything to have a pop at the club even when the facts don't bear it out. Bought my ticket online last night - paid £20 for old farts concession with membership. That's in line with tickets I bought last season. Last season there was an added £1.50 fee for buying online, this time £2.00 but could have avoided if I phoned the ticket office during the day. Would I prefer no booking fee - yes but have paid much more per ticket when booking to see shows, plays, bands etc and there's an easy way to avoid that. I suppose it's a welcome break from slagging off Harris or the players!

I think it is expensive but as said previously, what isn’t these days.

Just bought mine in block 5. £37 a pop, a £5 increase on what I think I was paying lest season.

I know the club froze prices after covid but I wonder how long until it’s £40 a ticket. Because it’s not worth that.

As a note, I think the early bird season ticket prices are fantastic value. Unfortunately I can’t get to that many games a season to warrant it.
