Given Coventry’s progress in recent years - from home games at Northampton to almost making it to the Premiership playing free-flowing football - I’ve had a lot of time and respect for them but if, as strongly rumoured, Lampard replaces Robins I hope they disappear through the trapdoor

I doubt there's much interest or money being spent on that particular market. It wouldn't take much to shorten the odds on one of them.

Just thought they wouldn't give such long odds to all but the favourite if others were also at the same stage of the interview process.

Fair point. Could be a stunt by the bookies but more than likely just punters reacting to what's in the press. There's various reasons and sources to get a rumour going.
