The mighty Lions V Preston

I'm not a Harris fan by any stretch, but recently we've been very good. So credit where credit's due. For 70 minutes today we tore them apart, even with a cunt of a ref giving them everything and us nothing. He really had it in for Esse.
Nothing changes with the refs does it? I know many clubs bemoan them but I do think we get more than our fair share or maybe it’s just the declining quality of refereeing. 🤷‍♂️🤔

The moment I saw it was Darren Bond, at kick off, I knew exactly what we were going to get.
So, it was no surprise whatsoever how he performed.

Statwanker mode on:

The last time we scored 12 goals in the first 7 league games was 2016-2017 (we actually scored 13 in 7). In the 7 seasons between it has taken between 10 and 13 games to reach that figure. mainly 12 games (4 times).

The manager was Neil Harris.

Harris Hoofball is shit*

Statwanker mode off:
playing some of the best football I’ve seen for a long time. A joy to watch at times, especially after some of the negative football of the last few years. Personally I would offer Harris a new long term contract right now!

I must be watching different games because I am not seeing this hoofball

I am seeing high press counter attacking football at speed.

Maybe this is what the saying “you can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all of the time” is all about.

Great performance and a great win and I leave the Den with a smile on my face yet again under Harris

I agree the refs are getting worse the ref against Luton was awful for both teams but the tosser yesterday was so biased against us it was embarrassing not that iam surprised well played the boys yesterday just a shame the Serb didn’t get off the mark as well great shot by him and a good save by there keeper

Emakhu only reacted because that frustrated Preston defender gave him a sneaky knee in the back, that the ref couldn't see.
Maybe Emakhu should have kept his cool, and let it go.
Thankfully we had the match won, and there wasn't much too time left for PNE to take full advantage of us being down to 10 men.

Couldn’t see it or chose not to see? 😡

Goal 1: Honeyman offside at the original free kick when Cooper headed back to onside Langstaff who laid it back to the now onside Honeyman.

Goal 2: At the game, I was level with Esse and thought he was offside, borderline.

Well explained for the first one! I think Esse was probably just leaning offside by a touch. Glad we don't have those stupid lines and VAR at this level.

The ref caused us no end of problems. Bryan, Esse to name just two, were getting so wound up by his one sided decisions, it was obvious they would get booked. Esse had to be restrained a couple of times from running after him and giving it to him. They kicked fuck out of him for the first half.

Maybe not so now Frank has said he just don't like the geezer. Personal rather than for football reasons then i can understand that if i'm reading it right.

I was like that with that fucking lunatic Subbuteo headed cunt, Edwards. He could have got us promoted and into the champions league but i'd have still wanted to volley his head off.

Read "Running with the firm"................ the copper said that their sergeant had just come beck from a meeting with the FA, and i quote from the FA "We don't want Millwall getting promoted, but need to be ready in case they do"
The 1988 season, surely, surely these types of comments, coming from the governing body should have been looked at. No ?
No, of course not, why ???? because it is Millwall we are talking about. !!!!
