THE DEFINITIVE TRANSFER IN/OUT THREAD!!!

I just had a quick look at the Union Berlin forum. My two years of German at school finally paid off, sort of.

He seemed to be a popular player who only really played in cup games for them over the last two seasons but scored important goals and gave his all.

They mention on his thread about Roy Larner.

With ths and the other signings we certainly can' t complain about lack of activity in the transfer market this close season. We need to congratulate GR, The Board and JB for making these signings possible especially the two overseas players .All we need now is for this investment to pay off in our results.

‘I'm going in partnership with the German organisations. Yeah, the krauts! They've got ambition, know-how, and they don't lose their bottle.’

That is one of the most quotable films of all time. What a performance from Hoskins. Possibly only bettered when he managed to get John Bindon off a murder charge by giving him a character reference.

Highlights reels are not a great way to judge a player but he looks like he can finish. I have no issue with signing a 30 year old. Players these days are much fitter and look after themselves. Trust the manager. This isn't a player plucked out of the air. Research and background will have been looked into thoroughly.
Two players spring to mind Paul Moody and Steve Claridge

Rowett has hinted that we might not yet be done in this window. He said we let 8/9 leave this season and have signed 6 outfield players in this window so sounds like he shares our concern that the squad is still thin!

My two favourites…..

Harold: “The Mafia? I’ve shit ‘em!”

Casino Manager: “It was a good night. Nothing unusual.”

Harold: "Nothing unusual", he says! Eric's been blown to smithereens, Colin's been carved up, and I've got a bomb in my casino, and you say nothing unusual?”
