Quite a few rumours that Leicester are going to sack Nistlerooy but want to get Rohl in before sacking him.

Transfers have been quiet this week and although only rumours, there is a pattern starting to show of who has money and who doesn't, luckily we will be joining those who have money this season.
Anoraks are possibly looking to sign Oloafe from Stockport, if true, would show the difference in the stature of just how big us and them are at the moment.

According to The Sun, the 48-year-old is still in the job because the club is waiting to enter its next financial accounting period — a move that would reduce the cost of terminating his contract.

Based on what 'The Nation' reports, Leicester will probably need to be sold.

Good news for the Saudi fellow. He might well pick up a decent sized club on the cheap.
Big points deduction and then having to get FFP in line could mean this season is about just staying in the Championship, leaving them with just 1 season of parachute payments to get back up, that could mean the club isn't worth that much anymore and if a quick sale is needed they will get even less.
Shake Turkey could be their only option of a decent short term future as he won't care about costs.

I think that it is inevitable that King Power will try to sell Leicester. The group as a whole is loss-making and needs refinancing. Leicester is not part of King Power's core business and is itself loss-making (+/-£210m in the last 3 years).

However, Leicester is quite a valuable asset. According to Forbes, Leicester was estimated to be worth £630m in May 2023, so if that figure is even half-correct, a sale will make a sizeable difference to King Power's balance sheet.

The more difficult question is will they find a buyer? Given that they are likely to be given a points deduction, and possibly face a transfer embargo, imo the chances of them being promoted this season are slim. Any new owner will need deep pockets and a degree of patience.

As you say, the Shiek might be their best (only?) bet assuming that he is a patient man.

Norwich away first up according to online rumours & WhatsApp messages doing the rounds. If it’s true then at least we can get our annual Carrow Rd defeat out of the way nice & early this year.
