Turned out to be Luton who didn't want to stay in the Championship on the last day, a big defeat allowed Hull to hang on for a point and survive.

23 months ago it was Luton who we would look at to see how they coped with the premiership and 9 months ago how they would cope with parachute payments as they were close enough in size to ourselves, perhaps today shows that creeping into play offs isn't really the standard needed if you want to have a hope of a better long term future.

Will they be getting 2 parachute payments now?

I watched a Norwich podcaster this morning (I know, I'm sad).
He thought the manager would get until Christmas.
I thought he must be a real dreamer.
The stigma of losing to Millwall seems to be a humiliation too far.
Or maybe it was the fact they got spanked by a team managed by someone they sacked?
I hate that tune they play at Carrot Road every time they score!

Luton will get £39m across the two years after their drop from the top flight regardless of whether they are in the Championship or League One. But, the kicker is, the Premier League has to give them another £4.5m if they are demoted to the third tier, where solidarity payments increase.

I don't know how true that statement is but evrything I can find about their parachute payments says they keep their 40m as if they were in the Championship. With FFP not being the same as us they can invest what they want into the side but with a commitment to the new stadium that starts being built soon, I doubt that they will.

Really hoping we have another London club join us next season, it would be great if Orient win the play offs.
I reckon it will be the spotters. They are in very good form and play Wycombe who they've already beat home and away. It means a minimum of 4 points for us if they do come up via the play offs.

Burnley giving life bans for people who went on the pitch to celebrate promotion to the Premiership, seems a bit much.
