The Bluebirds V The mighty Lions Match thread 7.45 KO

As mentioned before, we always, that’s always lose to teams worse than us. The only time I can remember it the other way was 88 (I think)
Villa had a seventeen unbeaten home run going. We go up there and beat them. By the time they came to us they had a 17-18 away game unbeaten run going. We did it again 😁😁😁

And losing last night ?????? How many say, at the start of each season “I’m happy for mid table “ or “as long as we stay up, then I’m happy “

Well ladies and gents, this is what it looks like to achieve those two point.

Harris - In

First half thought we did OK, fell asleep at a corner and got punished.
Didn't get to see 2nd half so can't comment.
Cooper needs to wake up to the fact that refs will never give a pen despite him being continually fouled at nearly all corners, but as soon as he puts his hand on an opponent they will penalise him, obviusly cant work that out himself so down to the coaching staff.Failing thaty. at corners just use him as a dummyto draw markers and vary the deliver

Did you notice that our defending at corners was strange? We stood the wrong side of them as if we were attacking rather than defending. Even the commentator on Sky Sports+ mentioned it. 🤷‍♂️

We also fell asleep on Saturday because it was a carbon copy apart from one scored with a shot and one with a header, both times no one picked up the runner to the near post, it will probably happen again this Saturday if other managers took note.

Watford's manager out *

Losing 3-0 to Preston who were shit on Saturday, so he must be shit despite the fact they they are still 5 points and 13 places above Preston.

Apparently he picks all his favourites and doesn't give the youngsters a chance. He's not even their all time record goalscorer.

Last nights game was lost because our midfield never turned up and we had no link for the defence and attack hence the long balls De norre was trying to get things going but no movement around him we reverted back to our default way of playing which does not work in this league, we had no "bite" in midfield i think young Alfie Massey would have made a difference last night.

Cardiff did their homework as others will this season.

I agree. We seemed to struggle in the second half to get the ball through the middle. We looked really good for about 20 mins in the first. They definitely wised up and tried to ensure De Norre had little time on the ball. The passing became slow and predictable. In turn the players got frustrated and mistakes crept in.

This “we always lose to sh*t teams” is pissing me off.

It’s almost as if, for some it pardons a rank poor performance :wagging:
In my experience it's not that they're pony but usually bottom of the league, winless in weeks, haven't scored for weeks either, depleted by injuries, a midget in goal but we are the team that they end their barren run to. We had an off night and no luck. I'm not sure anyone is trying to pardon it cause we were tosh. People are just picking the bones out of it. At least there's some going thought into it.

It seems there is a divide amongst fans. I will defend my team where i can and try to analyse and others will just blame Harris. He didn't manage things great but he never missed chances , played shit passes or failed to track a runner. That's where the goal from.

I might do a bit of stat wankery on it to see if there's particular teams that we're poxed by.

He also told a season ticket holder who hasn't missed a home game for 137 years to get a suck off of Alice. All the ST holder asked was- Alice Alice? who and where is Alice? On top of that he didn't bring on the subs that i told him to get warmed up. Fuck me i told him three times.

Not only is he deaf the rude fucker wouldn't stop shouting instructions at players whilst i was shouting instructions at him. Then to make things even worse he ignores me again and sends on our lad 7 seconds too early. No wonder we lost. He may well have scored nine and a half million goals for us but he's one stubborn fucker.

Alice out

This is piss poor from Bryan and unforgivable to just give up and let your man run off you at a set piece. He's meant to be a professional footballer. If someone did that at Sunday League level they'd be bollocked. He should be dropped for this alone.

Look at Cooper, he's doing what he does a lot lately. Stopping, hesitating, pulling shirts and gawping. He had at least a two-yard head start on Ng (or whatever his stupid name is). Ng wanted the ball more than him and attacked it, Cooper didn't.

I'm not saying Bryan didn't play his part, 'cause he did. But, as good a servant as he is, 'Cooper is starting to worry me a bit with his recent performances. Not all bad, but certainly patchy and inconsistent.
