The more I read Nugent’s sensible post match interviews on his U23 squad (and how he deals with changing subs and formations), the more I’m wondering whether he might be the bloke to replace Drawett, if/when he’s sacked?

He obviously knows the youth set up (so wouldn’t be adverse to bringing in youth players to play for the 1st team), and occasionally manages players from the 1st team when they play for him during their recovery to match fitness, but more importantly (and impressively), he’s been able to do something that Drawett has failed to achieve this season…..
