Tanganga!

Colin cooper was a far more accomplished centre half who hardly ever made any mistakes, went on to play for England,Tanganga hardly set the world alight at Tottenham .can’t remember this much fuss when he was sold for a fraction of his value to Forest. Each to their own, Tangangas a very good player but Crama looks more than capable of filling his boots. I won’t mourn a player who doesn’t want to be here.
We will have to disagree on our opinions on him, Cooper was a great player for us, it's just that I havn't seen anyone make defending look that easy at times as I have with Tanga.
It was reported last summer that he was offered more money elsewhere, I took the situation as he wanted to play in order to get back to a higher level which is why it's 2 year not 3 contract, it suited both parties.

Let's put this in perspective. If we had loaned a player such as Tanganga, we would have payed a loan fee plus his wages and no doubt would have cost a million plus. On the agreed terms if he should go to a premiership club we get £1.2m, therefore we are in pocket.
If he goes to a foreign side we may make a little profit.
By all accounts what I read, Tanganga wanted this settled by 30th June, which is tomorrow. I would have imagined his agent has been a busy beever!!

Neil Emblen was a class player when he came to us, we made a profit when we sold him. What a player.

Played about 12 or so games for us before we sold him if I remember, picked him up cheap from non league and was unreal, sold him to Norwich or wolves I think, he was quality ?

Sittingbourne I think he came from then went to Wolves 600k?
There were many seasons when we could have put together a very good side if we had the money to keep them together.
How times have changed.

He was superb for us and then went wolves where he was outstanding for a couple of seasons , Wolves fella I knew was raving about him . His career dipped after that don’t know if he had injury problems
