Tanganga

He won't leave in January for sure. Multiple reasons, main one being he had many, many choices before the season began, he chose to sign for Millwall. I highly doubt we was offering top dollar in wages compared to others, there must have been some kind of attraction to us, London? Fanbase? Connection? Whatever it was, he has signed for us for whatever reason he has chosen. It wouldn't make sense to leave us 5 months later for money. We aren't doing shit, clean sheets are immense and a brand new manager would certainly not want to lose his prized asset when coming in, and I would certainly doubt JB would want to lose Tanganaga in January.

Yes he's doing well, and it will always be expected that he will be linked with a move away from us.. we have brought him in with half an eye on this and it's silly to think otherwise. 5months down the line simply doesn't make any sense. He'll be a millwall player come feb 1st

The same old same old 'Cherrypicking' prem teams story who go to Championship sides and offer 'buttons' in return for the pleasure of being noticed by a prem club!

Wouldn't make any particular sense to sell him now, and I am not sure Wolves will be offering a silly amount of money so my guess is he stays until the end of the season at least.

I've also just read this regarding Wolves....

(Wolves) have a limited spending capacity due to Premier League financial regulations, including Profit and Sustainability (PSR) rules.
Strange if true they sold £112m quids worth of players in the summer

It’s the “new model”, sell Esse and Tanganga now (hopefully with a decent % sell on) buy a load of young prospects (from abroad) who want to use us as a step into English football and keep your fingers crossed we don’t go down and they come good in 2-5 years so we can sell them to the richer clubs. We need to showcase the players so forget 442 and just play the latest fad formation the Premiership teams are playing.

I must be disheartening for a new manager when the 'better' players want out. I hope AN has connections to make this team stronger.

I’ll think you will see two out in Jan which I think was the catalyst but our new direction
If they do go then at least we have a new manager who already knows the situation and the timing is right for him.
Not knocking Harris in any way but even if the club didn't want to sell, when an offer and move comes along that the player wants, it is hard for us to stop them if the money on offer is a good one.

Wolves seem to think they can get him for around 2 - 5 million . I was hoping we would get more than that at least 8 million.

The trouble is that Millwall have a reputation for letting talent go on the cheap!! It's time we turned the screw and told THEM how much he is worth... like it or lump it... we need to start playing hard ball otherwise we will end up spiraling down with no cash to replace him.

That article has nothing to do with Wolves or any respected journalist.
It is a dreadful clickbait site that pays the media parasite, Carlton Palmer, to make a comment that has no substance, neither is he ever accountable for making up any old quote for the sake of a few quid.

Doubt if he even writes them. Just gets paid to put his name to the clickbait they put out.

I didn't see Kitch or Charlie Hurley play but they were obviously excellent players. Colin Cooper when converted to centre-back by Mick McCarthy was tremendous next to Rhino in our last season at the Old Den. For my money, Tanganga is the best central defender I have seen in a Millwall shirt by a long way.
