Luton seem to have done it well and that’s the only way we are going to do it.
 
Fair play to Luton and good luck to them in the play-offs.

While money might not be the sole criterion for success, it's arguably the most important. There is no disguising the fact that the top two in the division were also the biggest spenders and had the biggest wage bills. Take Derby out of the equation - who would have stayed up but for the points deduction - and all those at the bottom were the poorer clubs with the exception of Reading.

Yep, it’s hard to believe that, what 11 - 12 years ago, Luton we’re playing in the Conference Premier! Their rise from there to a potential place in the Premier League for next season, has been nothing short of miraculous!

Whatever blueprint they used, it would be good if we could copy it - though I doubt they would tell us how they did it! :grinning:
