Saville gone?

I wanted him to stay, but I'm not surprised either. Especially as others from the old guard have been released or are going soon. At a guess, this is all about JB, Steve Gallen and AN building a squad of their own. JB did say a few weeks back that things are going to happen.

Good luck to Sav on his next venture, and the others for that matter. They've done the club well and are one of the main reasons why we are still in the Championship, and even more importantly, we seem to be in a healthy position.
It looks like the summer could get interesting with incomings.

My favourite player first time around, watched him off the ball lots as he gave out a lot of stick , really good quality player who got under opposing players skin, will miss him, new how to go in hard
sav always knows the dark side of the game he was a wind up in every game
loved watching him play and think he will be missed
wish him all the best and thank you for many enjoyable moment

Just heard he is out the door, possibly Luton... After we offered him reduced terms.

Is this right?
Have been told he was offered reduced terms and no guarantee of game time. It's understandable at his age if he wants regular football. You need to be playing to stop the rust setting in.

I loved watching him. I'd follow him even when he wasn't on the ball. He'd be in the refs ear and challenged every decision and 50/50 that went against us. He'd be in his markers ear winding them up, he'd be schooling and talking Billy Mitchell through the game and sorting us out position and shape wise. He certainly had the dark arts off to a tee.

He'll probably get another season or two out of his legs if he drops down a division.
