Pitch invasions are traditional for the last home game of the season but because of health and safety clubs have to be seen to discourage it.
The stewards did the right thing by stepping back ensuring a 'safe' pitch invasion but after 5 minutes the fans should had got back into the stands so the rest of the crowd could enjoy the players parading around the pitch, five minutes is enough time to get your selfies and family pictures on the pitch done.
