Relegation odds

We are currently playing as a bottom 6 side, my fear is the core players who have been here forever and the over 30's don't think they have a future at the club, certainly many didn't look that bothered yesterday.
We need 20 points from 20 games, from what I've seen in the last 6 weeks we are gonna struggle!
AN can't risk making to many changes, the squad have shown they can't play any other way than being "Hard to beat" and nick a goal from a set piece.
I'd play a simple 442, nothing complicated.

Jensen
Leonard/DM Tanganga Cooper DM/Scanlon

Azeez CDN Mitchell Mayor

Serb Connolly/Coburn

Come on chaps we aren’t gone yet, nowhere near. It was the same this time last year all doom and gloom and we finished comfortably in the end, of course there’s lots to pick apart about the club and squad but a few players back and a couple of wins and we’ll move on. That’s what I’m clinging to at the moment anyway.
I’m pretty sure we won’t go down but I think there’s more than a one in 25 chance. I’d say 1 in ten

You're pretty sure, Wippa old mate? I really don't get this optimism. At the start of the season I thought we had an outside chance of the play offs. Maybe that was wishful thinking. But right now we are headed straight down. Connelly! FFS. And we may still lose Tanganga.

I sat next to them at the Boro game. The people running the club. We are to become a "development" side. We develop talent, we sell it. And whether we develop it in League One or the Championship it doesn't matter, to them, I suspect. We should have been acutely worried when Kavanagh was sacked: that man was a class operator with the club's future his prime concern. Sacking Harris was another sign. It is no longer John Berylson. It is someone else. And I think we are in deep, deep trouble and League One may not be the end of it.

We are to become a development..... WTF!!
Who'da thought it? What have we been consistently doing for the last 50 years FFS!
Stepney, Hill, Weller, Sheringham, Cascarino, Carter, Cahill, Reid, Flemming Esse..
All done by hard working football people, with not a Harvard degree in sight.

Sadly I think you’re bang on the money.

because it was his old mans thing that don't mean that James will do the same
i for one don't like the shit coming out of the club of late
this stuff about being a development club has pissed me right off what's the point of getting a season ticket next year if we all know we cant compete as we are only looking to sell
if we lose tango before the end of the window we are fucked rightly
as for connelly he looked miles off being match fit

Cheers Monkey. Cheered me right up on a Monday morning 😆

Sorry mate. But just sitting there with the new people it was like being in one of those thrillers where you suddenly discover who is trying to destroy the world and they're right in front of you. Expect the age of the starting eleven to kinda halve btw.

Our next 5 games are crucial. 4 are against bottom 5 teams.

These 5 games could literally make or break our season.
That's us fucked then. As everyone knows we always lose to the shit teams, then raise our game and beat the ones that were probably shouldn't!

Shit, only just read this. Sobering reading, and from someone who's opinion I completely respect. I had been wondering along the same lines myself, but thought I was probably over thinking it. Worrying.

Not a bad idea.

Only thing I would say to this, from 7000ft up in the Himalayas is didn't James say he was going to finish what his dad started?
I've never seen anywhere that his dad was out to fuck the club over for the sake of a pound note...
