Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

JJ has got the tin tack. Oh dear.

Spotters on CharltonNoLife have mixed reactions to their Legend’s sacking!

BR7_addick had this to say:

“Absolutely shocked, whether people wanted it or not is one thing, never thought it would actually happen.

Initial reaction, TS ain’t fuckin about this season it’s business. To effectively sack a club legend who never left the building after playing is bold.“

Mendonca in Asdas said:

“Neil Harris incoming....... please no!!!!!” 🤣

seth plum replied:

“Why would Neil Harris be a stupid idea?
Yes I know Millwall and all that, but he has local knowledge and has decent managerial experience.
After all Millwall accepted Charlton legend Benny Fenton.” 🤣

Saved the best to last - this from Braziliance who totally sums up the majority of the Spotters deluded mindset:

“Absolutely the correct decision. The acceptance of mediocrity on this forum baffles me at times.

We are simply too big a club to let an ex player have his first stint and have a bit of trial and error with us. He should be earning his stripes in a non league side, not Charlton.

Spotters on CharltonNoLife discussing who they’d like as their next manager!

One deluded spotter wanted Paul Warne, the Rotherham manager who got them promoted back to the Championship at the weekend! Quite rightly, someone else did wonder why he would drop back down a division to manage them! 🤣

Although Showmetheway2gohome did try to make the following points to compare the two clubs:

“Rotherham average attendance is under 10000

there training ground is 2 pitches and a porta cabin. On the side of a county senior team parkgate. The ground which they used for about 3 years before they could afford to buy the cabins.

The referee changing room was wooden shed where the roof sags so much with the damp it was ready to cave in and you put a broom at the door to keep it shut.

Are we really less attractive than Rotherham because there in the championship. For probably 1 season again.

Don’t know why some of you support us if that’s how you see us.“

Yes, you are! 🤣

Their attendances probably average less than 10000 as well if they look at how many people are actually there and not how many the club say are there.

I just had a nosey over at 'Into The Valium', where the below picture from a Twitter feed is on show. The interesting thing is; Danish Dave had already talked to Michael Beale before giving Jackson the gig...It's quite clear, Danish didn't think Beale was the man for Champions League football:

Asked about Beale, Sandgaard said: “He has a fantastic track record, especially on the supporting side. Of course we talked to Michael. We’ve also been a little more ambitious than that, in terms of the level of managers we’ve been reaching for.”

Acting like a premier League chairman putting in bold targets like that. Perhaps that what he meant by 'established' in 5 years. A division 2 club acting like club in the premier. The man is a genius.

Then we have this statement from Danish Dave.
No pressure then...They really are the gift...

He doesn't know what he is up against with statements like that, league one won't be a stroll in the park for anyone next season, for a start the three relegated sides will be thereabouts, the three sides that fail to go up in the play offs will also be up there, add Pompey and Ipswich and a couple of the teams promoted from League two they will be doing well to contest a top half position making his 'top six worst case scenario' statement looking like a pissed up halfwit has said it.
