Don’t know why there was a hundred odd of them outside the crown in Blackheath village yesterday about 6 o clock with Rodney trotter flags? Don’t they realise they were being mocked by him being called Charlton? And why go to Blackheath to try and act hard in front of the local bankers and middle class couples having a glass on their way home?

You have to look at the train timetables.

Ok, we would all have loved to see the chairboys score a late winner, and not the spotters.
However, the way I see it, all is not lost for those hoping to see rivers of tears from our neighbours.

Scenario one...Orient win at Wembley. Better still they win 3-0.

Scenario 2.....Charlton win and spend a season of struggle and humiliation, ending in relegation from the Championship.

Including, of course, us pinching 6 points off them along the way.

So, it's a win/win for us, whatever happens next week.

Yes, a win whatever the outcomes you outlined.
However, scenario one is my preference, BP.
If that happens, I reckon Jesus Jones will come down from his cross and seek
paymasters & disciples elsewhere, leading to another merry go round of comical disasters.

Whilst those 6 points would have got us into the pray offs ourselves, those weird freaks haven’t suffered nearly enough and clearly haven’t gained even an ounce of humility between them.

****’em. I’ve had a soft spot for Orient since they sung that they hate West Ham more than us back in the early Kenny Jackett years. A team and a club worthy of a season or two in the sun.

A more interesting oppo for us too I think.

If Orient win I might start to consider forgiving them for the Birmingham match. How long can I hang on to this?
It was down to Mark Lazarus, I’m convinced he took a bung to not try in the game 😉

Apologies, just seen Secondwave’s comment. Clearly Lazarus made the same impression on both of us!

I think talk of the Saudi Money has ruffled a few of their feathers ahead of the final with Orient

Actually, there are a couple of decent posts in amongst the dribble:

Looks like 30,000 people that had no interest in the club when they were losing are taking the trouble to have a day out at Wembley.
