Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

Fuck me, this has to be the best laugh we have had over them for a while:

Nathan Jones wearing a half and half scarf in his press conference ffs. Welsh takeover.
Wrexham are managed by former spotter manager Phil Parkinson. I remember them sacking him after going nearly 3 months without a win. I hope Wrexham absolutely smash them.

So with that in mind i'm going 1-0 the spotters :hehe:

Then someone else to replace Jones and around it goes. Nothing would surprise anymore mate after the way Rowett was treated and turned on by a section of our fans. We're getting old now mate and it ain't the Wall that we've known for most of our lives. Football didn't seem so important back then plus the cesspit internet didn't exist. You wouldn't hear half the bile and nonsense farted out if we were all still going back to the boozer after a game. You wouldn't hear half the abuse that's aimed at our manger and team in the ground cameras didn't exist cause those doing it would be clumped into a heap.

I've only been on forums for around six year. It's a real eye opener. I've honestly never witnessed so much slagging, cunting, negativity and mouthing off in all my life. I never ever thought that i'd see fans turn on the team and manager so quick in all my time going either. It has saddened me to some extent cause i never knew we had people that want managers sacked, players dropped, sold, bought, played in a certain positions that they deem correct.

I naively thought that we stuck together, supported the team come rain or shine and saved the abuse and booing for the oppo. I admit that i find it hard to criticise us and will always look for a positive. The entitlement that is now ingrained in football fans is ruining the experience cause unless we're winning every week the whole thing turns toxic and the fun disappears.
Actually agree! As long as the team and manager give 100% thats all I want. Even if we went out of the league. Ok I have a little bitch up now and then, but never stop backing them. Its Millwall, thank god.

This is a really good post and very true.

We slag off others clubs support and like to think we're unique and alot of outsiders think likewise but times have changed and in reality these days our support is just like the others to a degree.

We are not quite at the half and half scarf stage yet.

Well, I hope not...

Fucking hell. People turning up because it’s Wrexham and they have a Hollywood actor owning them and was in a documentary tv series. What the fuck has happened to football
Some of them seem quite bitter towards Wrexham and the fact they're loaded and that they're bringing 3 thousand. It seems they don't think Wrexham are worthy of a 20k crowd. The delusions of grandeur is still strong at the Valium. Wrexham are going places and they're going know where any time soon.

From the heart as always mate and just how i see it. And of course we've changed , albeit very slowly. Nothing stands still or stays the same. The Millwall that i grew up with wouldn't be tolerated in the football pyramid of today. We wouldn't exist if we had it our way.

We've evolved, albeit slowly and we had to so there's a club for our kids and grandkids to enjoy just as we did and still do. I've grown to fucking despise what football has become but that will never stop me loving this wonderful club, the way of life as a lion and it's people.

Thanks dad :tophat:
