Prefer goalkeepers that catch the ball and command their area, goalkeepers that punch the ball when it's easier to catch it gives the impression that they are not confident

I agree with you to some extent OAG but I do think you can see before and during games that he's trying to implement ideas. He does seem to favour one way of play 4-2-3-1 but changes personnel to fit - RBW has started games LW, 10 and RW - and during games moves players about if it's not working. Last night Watmore started at 10 with RBW at RW but changed them during the game. Also seems to be quietly coaching/encouraging players during games. I have to say I quite like him!

Agreed but obviously we’ve had a couple of new players come in which has made a bit of difference. AN wanted someone to hold the ball up and bought in Connelly whereas NH only had the misfiring Langstaff and the unfit Bradshaw. I think what I mean is that we’d take the last two results all day long but regarding the style of football the fans were berating Harris for there isn’t much difference (which I’m not complaining about) As you say, slowly slowly

To be fair Portsmouth did most of their passing in attack, they did not f**k around with the ball in their own half.
You can see why their recent home form is impressive as it’s not every game they will come up against a defence as good as ours.

It’s not difficult to understand how they’d picked up 19 out of a possible 21 points from their last 7 home games prior to Tuesday scoring 16 goals in the process

For us to shut them out was a colossal achievement

Shout out for Cooper who won everything. He always looks better next to a ballplayer and someone who can organise the back four. used to be Hutch, now it's Tanga.

Yes a great performance from the team and us supporters. Pompey played to their strengths, their wingers and Bishop, and we played to ours, excellent defending against high balls . Cooper, Roberts and a very athletic Tango. We won the day deservedly.
Great to watch.
